Playing Clinker Hall on Nov 6! It's a room I've wanted to play for years. The first time I went there, I saw a band so loud and so good that I walked home without my coat. I'll try to give somebody else the same feeling. Doors at eight, start at nine, home by midnight.

Added strings to With the Grain. Four players, two takes, one snack break that lasted an hour.

A week of dates in the fall. Starts in New York, ends in New York, and there is a plan in between, probably.

Last night in New York was one of those nights where everything lined up. The sound person fixed the monitors in two minutes, a stranger sang the second verse of Counting Sheep back at me and somebody brought cookies to the stage. I'll remember it when I'm old. Thank you, all of you.

The new songs are finished, mostly. One more week of mixing and then I'll stop listening to them.
