REFUND POLICY // FRONT MATTER

How a refund is requested, what it actually does to your access, and the one limit on how often it can happen.

01

How to request one

REFUND POLICY // CLAUSE 01 OF 06

Every active purchase in your Library has a REQUEST REFUND action. You write the reason, we open a request against it — that request doesn't move any money by itself. A person reviews it and decides; this is not an instant, automatic refund, and your Library shows the status the moment it changes.

02

What a refund does

REFUND POLICY // CLAUSE 02 OF 06

Approving a request revokes the license: streaming stops, and the FLAC stops re-downloading. Your Library still lists the purchase — we don't delete a thing that happened, we mark it "no longer granted" and show what came back. Buying the album again restores both.

03

Physical goods

REFUND POLICY // CLAUSE 03 OF 06

Physical goods — vinyl, cassettes, CDs, apparel, art objects — are sold by the artist, not by SNR. Refund decisions for physical defects (damaged in transit, wrong item, manufacturing flaw) are at the artist's discretion. Contact the artist directly.

The digital license that comes with a physical purchase has different outcomes depending on the type of refund:

  • Defect refund — the physical object failed. The digital license is retained. You keep streaming access, FLAC download, and library listing.
  • Full cancellation or chargeback — the transaction is unwound. The digital license is revoked. Streaming stops and the FLAC stops re-downloading, though any files already downloaded remain your responsibility to delete.
04

Partial refunds

REFUND POLICY // CLAUSE 04 OF 06

A partial refund — a goodwill adjustment that isn't the full price — does not revoke anything. Access only changes on a full refund or a chargeback. If part of your money came back and the album still streams, that's not a mistake.

05

The limit

REFUND POLICY // CLAUSE 05 OF 06

3 revoked purchases — refunded or charged back, it doesn't matter which — inside a rolling 365 days blocks new purchases on your account. A revocation is the one action in this store that takes money back from an artist who was already paid out of it, and unlimited revocations would make that promise meaningless. Your existing purchases and your subscription are unaffected either way.

06

Status

REFUND POLICY // CLAUSE 06 OF 06

A request is open, approved, denied, or done — your Library badges the purchase with whichever it is. A denial always comes with a note saying why.
