Went to see a friend's band last night. They were amazing. I'm a bit jealous.

Dates for the autumn are up. It starts in Detroit on Oct 11 at Pilot Light, and then it wanders: four small rooms, one record shop, a living room that holds twenty and a barn that holds more. I'm driving myself, which means the setlist depends on how many gas stations are open. Come say hello and tell me where to eat.

The thing about a small audience is that you can learn everyone's name. Thank you, all of you.

The Slow Weather vinyl is finally here. Two hundred copies, 180g, black, with a printed inner sleeve and a lyric sheet I hand-numbered over three evenings. Shipping starts on Monday. If you pre-ordered, you'll get an email when it leaves, and if you didn't, there are still a few copies in the shop.

After a year of staying home, I'm playing out again. The Garden Shed, Detroit, Oct 8.

Not a big milestone, but today the monthly backers passed a hundred. A hundred people. I'm lost for words.
