THE FEED

A week of dates in the fall. Starts in Brooklyn, ends in Brooklyn, and there is a plan in between, probably.

Booked a short run of shows: Brooklyn on Nov 28, then three more weekend dates I'll announce soon.

You bought Almost Home. You told your friends. You turned up. I will remember it.

Remastered The Quiet Year is up. Same songs, slightly cleaner. I fixed the hiss on track four, you're welcome.

The Almost Home vinyl is sold out. A second pressing is being discussed over several cups of tea.

Quit my job this week. Terrified, thrilled, extremely underqualified for anything else.

Show tomorrow in Brooklyn. If you've been to a gig before, you already know the answer: yes, Trading Cards of Tiny Gods is in the set.

Added a second night at The Pigeon Loft for Nov 13 because the first one sold out. Come to either, both, or neither.

A small thing: Saltwater is now on cassette. Fifty copies, hand-dubbed, each one slightly different.

Spent the whole day on one eight-bar part of The Corner Store Has Closed. Tried four different synths, two pianos, a kazoo and the sound of a stapler. In the end I went back to the first thing I recorded, at 9:40 in the morning, without any plan. There's a lesson in that, but I'm too tired to learn it.
