I've been playing June in November slower and slower, and now it's twice as good. Lesson learned.

Pedalboard rebuilt from scratch. It's smaller, it's quieter, and it sounds like a different instrument.

Missed my train, saw the best sunset of the year, wrote a chorus on the platform. Fine day.

The mugs came in. They're a little uneven, which I'm calling a feature.

Playing Market Hall Mezzanine on Oct 25! It's a room I've wanted to play for years. The first time I went there, I saw a band so loud and so good that I walked home without my coat. I'll try to give somebody else the same feeling. Doors at eight, start at nine, home by midnight.

Wrote four new songs on a train this week. Two of them might survive the morning.

Thank you to my family, who still can't tell the difference between the songs and my practicing.
