THE FEED

All the pressing money came from people who bought a download. This is a thank-you note in the form of a post.

Deleted every synth on the record and started over. Better now.

Rehearsal room is booked until midnight. The new songs are loud, which is a relief.

Favorite record this month: a six-track tape by someone I'd never heard of. Found it by accident, played it all week.

Everyone who came to Café Nachtigall: thank you. Everyone who couldn't: also thank you, the pressure was real.

Some news. Open Season will be out in the spring, on cassette and download, in a run of two hundred. I recorded it across eleven evenings in a rented storage unit with a space heater and a thermos. The cover is a photograph my grandmother took in 1971, and she has approved it by telephone.
