Every record has a list of thanks in the booklet and every one of them is too short. So, in a post: thank you to my family for not asking when I'll get a real job, to the friends who lent me gear and to the person at the print shop who stayed late to fix my sleeve. You're all on Stop Gap, in spirit.

Trying a new way of working. Each morning I record one song from scratch, start to finish, before checking my phone. Most of them are bad, a few are fine, and one of them, That Time of Year, I can't stop playing. It turns out the trick is to finish before you have time to doubt it.

New single, Weather Vane (Single Version), goes up tonight at midnight. Headphones if you've got them.
