NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM THELMA RUFFIN-ADEYEMI

Eight songs, four years, one small notebook. Gentle Rain on a Tin Roof is out now.

Sep 23, 2026
The Gentle Rain on a Tin Roof vinyl is finally here. Two hundred copies, 180g, black, with a printed inner sleeve and a lyric sheet I hand-numbered over three evenings. Shipping starts on Monday. If you pre-ordered, you'll get an email when it leaves, and if you didn't, there are still a few copies in the shop.

Hit the first payout today. It's not much, but it's real, and it's from you. Thank you.

Moving week just ended, which means my guitar is somewhere in a box labeled "kitchen." So far I have found the kettle, a lamp, nine mugs and the instruction manual for a toaster I don't own. The new neighborhood has a good bakery and a terrible echo in the stairwell, and I've already written two songs there.

Rainy day, three layers of socks, listening to a record I haven't touched since 2012.
