New EP, Tributary, is live. Five songs, eighteen minutes, one of them is about a dog.

A short run of shows this spring, starting in Bristol on Nov 25. I'll be playing the new songs with a very small band: two guitars, a bass and a drum kit missing a cymbal. There'll be tapes at the merch table, stickers on the floor and a setlist that gets shorter every night, because the encores keep multiplying.

I don't talk about it much, but I work nights at a hospital laundry. The machines run all hours, and the rhythm of them is in half of what I write. If you've ever wondered where the hiss on my records comes from, now you know. It's real, it's loud, and it pays the rent.
