Playing La Bodega Azul on Nov 8! It's a room I've wanted to play for years. The first time I went there, I saw a band so loud and so good that I walked home without my coat. I'll try to give somebody else the same feeling. Doors at eight, start at nine, home by midnight.

Mixing in headphones tonight. The neighbors are sleeping and the foam is melting.

A thank-you to the friend who lent me their basement, their drum kit and their tolerance.

Tried to sing in the shower this morning and the neighbor sang back. It's now a duet.

I'm very grateful to the label, who let me turn in the record three months late and didn't blink.

A friend died this month. Writing helps, a little. Mostly I'm just listening to their records.
